Identifying The Problem
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many individuals to experience anxiety, depression, and many other mental health issues. Many schools, companies, and public services have temporarily closed, forcing families to transition their lifestyles to stay at home. There were also limited resources for families to stay informed and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Solution
Shome provides families with recent news updates, trending recipes, and safe activities to do at home. This app can help you stay connected with friends and family by inviting them to your events. Shome can also help parents track their child’s symptoms to maintain their health and carry a digital copy for record.

Target Market & User Personas
Shome’s target market would be parents aged 23-39 who are looking for activities to keep their kids entertained at home while tracking their health, and children from the age of 5-10 years old. Our target market makes up for 18.8% of Canada’s population (Statistics Canada, 2019).
